Cant est data comn

i am not able to set my google account on the phone, although the browser is working properly & I can access my gmail account on it. I have tried to hard reset the phone but nothing happened.

I always get a msg "Can't establish a reliable data connection to the server." I have enabled Background Data but to no avail.

Can somebody please suggest a solution??

Hi, try performing a Software Repair with Update Service. Here's the download link, http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/update-service/

Download and install to PC/Laptop, launch it and follow on-screen instructions, be aware that this will erase phone data completely, backup if necessary.
