cannot update via pcc OR sus

i cannot update my xperia s via pc compainion or sony update service. when it says hold down vol down key and plug usb into phone nothing happens tried on both pcc and sus please help!

Have you tried connecting it on other PC?

do you get an error? if you do post the screenshot

also make sure that your phone is off (with SUS)

i turn my phone off on both as it requests sus for 30 seconds pcc for 5 seconds and no error message

i also struggle connecting to pcc i have restarted the phone and it still only works every now and then

try a different usb port on your pc

also try this

uninstall both PCC and SUS > restart your PC > install SUS > restart your PC > turn off your firewall and antivirus

turn off your phone > press and hold the volume down buttoh THEN connect the usb cable > the LED should turn green, keep holding it as your PC will download the drivers > once is done

run SUS and try again
