Cannot sync iTunes content to Xperia Arc

In short, I just bought an Xperia Arc recently. Although it somehow costs me more than iPhone, what is very frustrating me is that Sony Ericsson Media Sync does not detect anything in my iTunes. Although I am using my copy and paste skill to sovle the problem, I am angry and frustrated to the fact that SE claims that it works but it doesn't.

Please CSRs. I need the answer that better than reinstalling the softwares (both SE Media Sync and iTunes), restarting my Macbook, using Windows etc.

ok i got my macbook pro back.

SE Media Sync automatically since information from your iTunes. These include artists, albums, playlists, podcasts, videos & show selected. You can view these from the main "Computer" tab in Medis Sync. When you plug in your arc, Media Sync will display the connected phone. To copy any media to your phone, simply select 'Artists' (or other categories) on the left side, then tick the checkbox on the right hand side for any of the media files you want to copy. Once all selection has been made, click "Copy files" and the transfering of these files will begun. To verify if the content is copied over, simply seleft the 'Phone' tab on Medis Synce, and you should be able to see these media that were copied over.

If you need more information, feel free to reply to this post and I will try my best to assist.

I had the same issue. The SE media sync will not work with my macbook pro. I realised that once you connect your arc via USB to the mac, you need to connect your phone memory card to computer. This can be done on your phone by pulling down the status bar once connected via usb, you will see there is a prompt for you to connect your phone memory card. Hopefully it helps.
