cannot restore files from old phone

hello,

i have a xperia U, on which the screen has died..

fortunately, the phone works and is recognized by the computer, and i managed to make a backup of all files and settings (.dbk file), with pc companion 2.1.0.0

the only phone that i've managed to acquire is xperia J

however, when i start pc companion and connect xperia J, the whole menu for backup and restore dissapears!!

is it possible to restore everything from xperia U (dbk) to xperia J...?
