3g/ internet problem

hello im from argentina,sorry my english is bad, the problem ist...I have my phone updapted (xperia active) to 4.0.4 and i have problem with 3g, only have EDGE(2g), never 3g and this is slow.

Do you have the correct APN settings?

Repair your phone once more with either PCC or SUS > then settings > more > mobile networks > access point names > menu > add New > enter the info > menu Save.

Rooting doesn't have anything to do with this unless you had rooted your phone and did something like disable apps, uninstall apps, mod something then that could be the problem.

You had 3G before the update? do you have your data on? 

settings > more > mobile networks > network mode . What do you have set?

yes i have 3g before, in settings i have WCDMA/GSM
