Try clearing cache for Play Store under Settings -> Apps -> All and see if that helps. If not, do you get this message if you try downloading on another connection (WiFi, mobile network)?
i cannot find cach clear button at settings - apps. i did factory data reset and now it shows a different error message as "package file is invalid". still cannot install any app. please help me. still i didnt get any chance to enjoy my new phone.
Have you tried this on another internet connection? Looks like you get a corrupted download which indicates a problem with your current internet connection.
why must have mcAffe antivirus???
You must have around 500mb-1gb internal memory space free for installation of large apps, clear cache from play store and u'll see it run perfectly.
I got the same installation error in my sony xperia SP after i downloaded asphalt 8 (1.6 gb).
Tried that too. Nothing worked. Help!
try goto setting>apps>all>google play
clear cache and data..force stop then reboot your phone
