Cannot install apps after lollipop

Hi  there!

I recently updated to Lollipop and it was super smooth. But sadly, i was unable to install a few games i downloaded/bought over Google Play Store which were Asphalt 8,Modern Combat 4,GT Racing 2 and other HD games. It would either show the error "Installation error...-905/505" .. Never faced this before on KitKat...

Does this about the Lollipop changing for Darvik to ART or is it just something about my phone? I did the Clear Data/Clear Cache on Google Playstore/Framework/Play Services but doesnt solve it.

I tried to install Asphalt 8 via third party source but also didnt installed.

*Other latest apps like VSCO cam works and installed fine

- Go to Settings -> Apps -> All -> -> Google Play -> Force stop, Unistall updates, restart your phone.

- Update your play store again and see if u still get this error.

Thanks uliwooly. Does this mean I can't install apps which have cracks . I've a DVD full of cracked and paid apps, can't I install them? Does lollipop have a limitation for installing apps from other markets, like mobogenie or 1 mobile market or mobo market? I've got many apps which are not on the play store. Why is this limitation if it is existed?

You shoud be able to install them as long as they are compatible, just be careful with malware

Can u give me the site for modern combat 4 in xperia z2 ver. 5.0.2,,,badly needed...i tried so many times using 4share but it always forced stop when i open it... My device is rooted also

After updating lollipop 5.1 in my xperia z2, i can't install third party apps. In the installation process their showing in left cancel and right Install menu but that install menu not pressed, its totally disabled, how can i fix it?

'Quester' i try what you say and.......and nothing, the same problem. Z1 lollipop its bugly. Sony must fix it and must fix it yesterday. In our days its simple to find another phone. Maybe Samsung or LG dont have that problems.
