Cannot Boot Up

Hi all

My phone was doing fine last few days. However, since today, if I restart the phone, it will not boot up. I have to press "Power" + "Volumn up" to reset. Then, wait for 5 minutes to boot up. 

Anyone has this problem?

Doing the power+vol up button only means ir phone hang that it cannot wake up from sleep. My acro s does that but only while watching videos (using mx player) and connected to a bluetooth speaker. When i pause it then wait until the screen goes to sleep, there are times it did not respond to power button that i really nid to reset it using the p+vup.

In this case it would be worth running an update/repair on your device:

1. Download the PC Companion software from http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/
and install it on your PC.
2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.
4. Phone Software Update.
5. Start.
6. Repair Phone
7. Continue
8. Accept data removal
9. Next
10. Wait for prepare
11. Select Phone
12. Follow the connection steps

If you recently tick/untick the Optimize Backlight in display setting it will leads to long reboot. 

So don't worry just wait 1-2 minutes.

And remember after your  click on Optimize Backlighting it will be alwase long reboot.
