s u need to be rooted and cwm installed to flash the zip !! Rooting for our device and installing cwm in two min process !!!

What is the benefits of rooting? My warranty period is about to get over in a week.

Rooting doesn't void your warranty!!  Only unlockig your bootloader voids warranty..  Aft rooting and installing cwm(recovery) u can install/flash custom Rom , mods etc.. We need to unlock bootloader only to flash a custom kernel!! I have rooted and am in a custom rom now..  Also flashed much mods like small apps,  walkman movies music from z ultra,  settings menu with cpu control, light effects,  etc,  honami themes,  phonebook , conversation, cyber shot camera,  and yesterday installed acid audio engine which s so powerful!!  And much more! ! I love my device now.

As of right now there's no info ther than the Xperia Z family and SP will get 4.3 and there's a maybe that other Xperias will get 4.3, no word on the Xperia P just yet.

My opinion, I don't think the Xperia P or S will get 4.3 but that's my opinion
