Xperia P will never get android 4.2. So there is no chance that it will be updated to android 4.3. Maximum xperia P users will get bugless android 4.1.2 update from sony if we are lucky.

I agree, I don't think the Xperia P will get 4.2 or 4.3, its life cycle its about to expire, it was released February 2012 and its 18months will be up by August.

I stand corrected on the date (May 2012) but I wouldn't keep my hopes up as Sony work on the latest Xperias first then work the way down, by then (November) perhaps the Xperia Z series will have 4.3 and Honami might be out with 4.3 so I doubt the Xperia P or S will get 4.3, I hope I'm wrong but we'll have to wait and see.

I really hope they upgrade xperia p to 4.3 but it is a 2012 xperia and it wasn't a flagship phone so we'll just have to wait and see.

I'm sure that we will never get Android 4.3 for Xperia P.

We will probably get 2 update fixes to 4.1.2 - one in the next month and the last in the next 2-3 month.

We have been waiting many months for ICS and JB so it's impossible to wait next 3-5 months for the first 4.3 release for our phones and next few months for 3-4 update fixes, because support for that must be about a year.

hmm , I'm 50-50 with this 4.3 jellybean for 2012 xperia's but glad to hear they will still work for the 2012 ones like our Xperia P, though I hope it'll be more smooth now! ;

I still have a few hope for this 4.3 , but if they manage to release it on our device, I'll be extremely happy. just fix the Camera Noise bugs , especially indoors and low light mode.

there are people who say android devices only updates for 2-3 android firmwares then no more.
