Can't surf via mobile network

I recently posted my number onto a boost prepaid sim in my new sony xperia Z1, the Internet won't work at all without wifi. Anyone know how to fix it?

First of all, make sure data is activated which can be found under Settings > More.. > Mobile network > Data is activated.

You also need internet settings to be able to use the mobile network. You can try to download these settings automatically via Settings > More... > Internet settings.

The internet settings can also be added manually via Settings > More.. > Mobile network > Access Point Names. If you are not sure which settings you are going to add, you can contact your network provider to get the correct settings.
