Can't open my contacts (com.sonyericsson.infiniteview problem)

Hi! I got a problem with my Xperia arc since I recently updated the phone to 4.0.A.2.368. The problem is in my contact list when I try to open a contact, an error message is showed with the following text: The process com.sonyericsson.infiniteview has unexpected stopped. I can see my contacts but not open them. Does anyone have a clue how I can fix this? Thank you!

Can you try this :

1. Go to Contacts.
2. Choose “Back up contacts” from menu.
3. Backup to Memory card.
4. Go to Settings/Applications/Manage applications, select “All” tab.
5. Clear all data from “Contacts” and “Contacts Storage” applications.
6. Go back to Contacts.
7. Click “Done”, don’t import anything, you’ll have an empty phonebook now.
8. Choose “Import contacts” from menu.
9. Choose “Import vCard file"
10. Choose the file you backed up the contacts to.
11. Choose “Filter” from menu.
12. Choose “Phone contact”.
13. Tick “All contacts”.

Hopefully this fixes your problem.

Unfortunately I don't know the root cause. I just know that performing those steps somehow fixes the problem.

To be honest it is very difficult to tell what the cause of the problem was, it could be corrupt data, interference of a process by a third party application etc.

Before, my experience is when I open my contacts is not use the camcard application to create, it works fine.

PS. I feedback the problem is why I can't reply a topic. I found the reason is I post a camcard appication's website. It's not allow. Why?

Sony Ericsson Xperia Active, when I deactivated the app "Infinite view" ("lying 8 symbol"), I could not open my contacts anymore. Activated again, now it works.

cleared all data from contacts and contact storage..

when it comes to importing contacts...i dont have that file..just the option of sim card or memory card...both options give me the error message again...now i have no contacts whatsoever.
