Can't delete facebook messages

I have been trying everything, but I can't seem to figure out how to delete facebook messages on my Sony Ericsson Xperia Play.

There is a new app from facebook called "Facebook Messenger". You can delete it from there or go into FB app and under messages you should be able to delete messages.

However sometimes the APP doesn't like to communicate with FB servers so it is easier to delete them via a web browser.

soorry but which type of messages ..?? i mean where are they saved..??

if you want to delete all fb related stuff you can do this also..

settings > applications > manage applications > all

find facebook..select it..then tap on clear data..it will reset the facebook..

you have to just enter your id again..and it will be back to normal

This is not correct> I delete the messages in the laptop, but this is not reflected on the phone. All other communications are working. New messages could be sent, received but not deleting!
