Can't change into Frontcamera modus

Hey Guys,

I have a problem with my xperia S

Since few month I can't change into the frontcamera modus.

Everytime i  try it, the camera chrash and show me an Error window.

Please could you help me? What can i do?

I've installed the whole software new, but nothing changed.

Sure:

I've made two screenshots. After installed JB on my phone, i can't take any pictures anymore..

If i open the app, there's only a black screen. Few seconds later comes the error msg.

First: " Error: Camera isn't available" : shows everytime i open camera

second: "Camera doesn't work - Do you want to close? Wait-Ok"

First thing to try is to go to Applications -> All, find the "Camera" app and clear cache

Done. Now I can take normal pictures. But it still crash if i try to change in the frontcamera modus 😕

There are also the "Camera common" and "Camera extension" apps, you can try clearing them too. If you don't want to clean the phone and install a fresh system, there's not much more I can help you with since it works for me

hm okay, Thank you I will try it. I cleaned my phone already. But no change.

If you have cleared data from the camera app and restarted the phone and the problem persists I recommend that you repair the phone software using PC Companion:
