Can it be repaired?

Today while I was eating I accidentally dropped my X8 into hot soup.

I know this voids my warranty, but just wondering if anyone knows if wet phones can be repaired and can my downloads be salvaged..?

We don't repair that type of damage. My only advice to you would be let it dry for a few days and then try to use it again and see if it works.

Hi, something to add .... Remove battery, SIM Card and SD Card, shake vigorously to remove excess water, use paper towel to absorb as much water as possible. Leave phone overnight in a bag of uncooked rice overnight (unless you are able to find desiccant).  We will think of a solution for the soup smell once your phone is up and running. Good luck!

Right, thanks guys! I'm currently putting it in rice. Cross my fingers and hope it'd work. However, an additional thing I forgot to write was I tried to switch it on initially, and it only vibrated but didn't switch on. Does this mean it is has a short circuit...?
