Can I rollback to 4.1 - it worked then...

As the title says..... Slightly_frowning_Face

I'm experiencing random 'sim/uim card removed' switch offs and now the 'switch off when charged', all since the 4.3 rollout.

Are there any plans to fix the problems or provide an easy rollback option?

Have you tried a software repair on 4.3?

Either Pc companion or Sony update service:

I've tried Sony Camponion for a complete reinstall and the update service, but that was about a month ago now..... Neither made any change.

The main problem is the 'sim/uim card removed' random switch offs....

I am sorry, did you try another SIM?

I haven't tried another sim, but the sim wasn't removed prior to the fault developing. Do you think it could be a glitch that OS no longer communicates with the sim properly?

Yes,it is a simple guess.Remove the SIM and see if the phone restarts.

Agreed, that is simple but knowing it's fixed the fault isn't. What you're saying is make the phone inoperable (no sim no connectivity) until the next fail point... I should have said sometimes it can go for 26 hours before failing, but didn't ever fail before the 4.3 update...

I guess it may be the only way.... I was hoping for a Sony fix but not even sure if they're aware there is an issue. Is there any failure reporting software?

You can contact xperia care:

And I was not suggesting using the phone without the SIM,just see if it works without your SIM.Maybe it is broken.
