Camera Problem

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me.  My camera has stopped working on my xperia u.  I just did the update for softwear but it's still not working.  When iturn the app on I just get a blank screen.  Anyone have any idea what I can do about this?

Try with a different SD card, also settings > apps > all > camera > clear everything > check again

if that doesn't work then take it to a Sony repair center

Thanks for replying Uliwooly.  There's no SD card with the xperia u.  I tried your other suggestion and it made no difference, think the camera app itself isn't working but I can't see how to download it to put it on again.  Looks like I might have to try and find a repair centre    Thanks again - Kath
