Smh if you weren't so busy hitting on my post you would of realised I told him a fix is coming with a new firmware that's the attention you are paying and my nokia post was a reply to the guy who said his 4s is taking better pics than his Z1 yet i don't see you telling him anything. Fact is everyone except you it seems has been waiting on this comparison to see how well the 20.7mp sensor stands up to the competition everyone except you it seems and I wasn't turning this into a Nokia/Sony blog maybe if you looked at all the comments you'd understand instead of juming in fingers first trying to make it seem like i'm creating war between brands.

Hey, mate.. I am not fighting with you...

If you feel offended because anything I said, please don't be, that was not my intention at any point.

BTW, the new update just hit me, I am updating my Z1 as we speak. Let's see what it fix. I will definitely test the camera deeply and let you know.

Here's a good one from cnet austrailia which is interesting seeing as how cnet uk gave the Z1 a tongue lashing but this video is quite interesting in what the photographer is doing so maybe in the hands of knowlegable photographers and ppl the Z1 is good. Here's the link btw enjoy  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-1WiRRbkfI it's cool to see how photographers are working with moble devices.

I know you weren't fighting but I was just pointing out that I gave the guy some solid advice in regards to his Z1 as I knew that a new firmware was coming. I don't take anything personally on the net life is to short for that but as it stands Sony can become the number 1 OEM on the android platform by tweaking their software better. Samsung is moving away from us with the S5 next year and I think we ought step up our game and stop letting other OEM's put us to shame by posting better results with our sensors that's my main gripe with Sony. Better results have come in from Apple,Samsung,LG,Oppo and even Nokia and using our in house sensors and for me that's not a good thing but I always buy Sony devices as there are much easier when it comes to modding and such like.

I can confirm that. I am a professional photographer (not necessarily the best one, but it's part of my job) so I know a few things about cameras.

It is then possible that I can't make a "bad" photo with it because I know how to handle it. I know not everyone do know how to shoot photos.

For me though, the worst thing about the camera in the Z1 is its placement. I used to hold the "big guns" there, and when I get Z1 in my hands I almost always cover the lens with my finger. Plus the shutter button is a little too close to the corner, it's simply hard to handle sometimes.

Yes I can agree wish it would of remained where the Z's camera was and the shutter button is to close to the end of the phone though I was the only person who felt so.The size of the phone and where the Camera is placed had me a little surprised seeing as how this phone and the note 2 are almost the same size i wish the camera was more center mass.

I suspect this way was the only possible to keep the phone water/dust proof. But it is an issue for me. Nothing I can't live with Winking_Face

OK, just updated the phone. We will see what happens now (especially with Wi-Fi issue mentioned in some other post)

A new firmware is available so you can update to the latest firmware and see if that fixes your problem with the noise you are getting ok.
