camera not working

i downgraded my xperia neo v from ics to gingerbread in sony service center.after that my camera is not working, when i open it it gives an error message   'camera not available'. i complaint it to the service center but they did nothing,they said we only updated it.my mobile is not under warranty.now tell me what to do is their any solution or i should go to consumer court.

Try this:

Go to settings, apps, go to all, open "Camera" and press "Clear data".

Now try again and see if the problem still persists.
