Camera Not Available error message

I am having the problem of getting the error message ' Camera Not Available' when I tried to activate the camera. I need to off and on the Arc for the camera to work. However after awhile the problem comes back. What shall I do please ?

In this circumstance I would advise running either an update or repair via PC Companion or the Update Service. I would recommend Sony Ericsson Update Service to update your firmware...

Follow instruction, if showed you have latest firmware, just hit REPAIR button

Hi all!

My story is about that problem:

- Downloadaed and installed Camera 360 Pro

- Started the software, and tried to take a picture

- "Waiting for Fosus" the cam360 pro said, and crashed after a few seconds

- After that no camera apps works, even teh basic Camera app, and get the message "Camera not available"

- Restarted the phone -> Same

- Soft reset without SD delete -> Same

- With SD delete - > Same

- PC companion Repair -> Not the same, but still cannot work, got this message:

      (process com.sonyericsson.android.camera) Has stopped unexpectedly.

Im really depressed about thet problem because that modell was my favorite since it comes out and finally i got it a week ago, but now...i dont wanna give up this awsome camera. Please Help!

I did it but, the update didnt fix my camera's problem.

I don't get it, how can an App kill the cam?

you did a n update with pc companion right..??

just try with sony ericsson update service its solves the problem if pc companion fails to do so..

also..

if you get the same error even after updating again.. then you have to go to a service centre nearby and get it checked..

you know i installed the same app yesterday

but now i have deleted it wont take any chance...

i dont know how an app caused this much damage..

if your phone is still in warranty service centre should replace it for free if theres any hardware damage

just to be on safer side dont tell them that it happened when i was using camera 360..just tell them it just happened with the normal  default camera..ok..

Done the PC companion version, and the SE update service too, but problem is the same.

I get is checked, maby its hardware damege,  thanks for your answers, have a nice day
