Camera LED flash too bright

Hi I recently bought xperia u. After using camra in any light condition if I turn on the flash, it whitens entire picture. It is too bright!

Can anyone plz suggest me how to control this flash? I am not able to use camera in low light conditons as flash turns entire picture white or smoky

there isn't a way to dim the camera flash, the only option is to go low tech, using a coffee filter works, not only on smartphones but on regular DSLR cameras gives a better result. there might be an app on the market to dim the flash.

Please check for the little plastic film cover that comes attached to the lens on purchase. This is designed just to keep it safe in the box but then be removed before use.

I am unable to remove plastic case please upload some photos for demonstrate how to remove plastic cap of flash .please mail me also at bhanu866@gmail.com. i also face white photo issue at night.

open the back cover and you'll find it how to remove that plastic

I am unable to remove to remove flash plastic cover because it is so hard to open it.please suggest some steps for removing it safely so no harm at flash lens.

bhanu , Remember the plastic cover is on camera lens and not on flash. Do not fiddle with flash led !!:smileygrin:

Yup there is a little Plastic cover over the Flash..!! How should i remove it..! Iam scared to do that..!!

Even My pictures are very bright, and grey..!! Foggy look..!! when  use the flash..!!

But without the flah pictures are awesome..!!
