Camera is not getting launched

I bought a sony xperia l today. When i started it everything was working fine except that the camera is not getting launched.

i tried restarting it but it didnt solve the issue. Help me out in solving the issue.

1.Hard press the button for 2-3 seconds,

2.you can disable/enable this button in camera settings,check if it is disabled.

Problem is with the software. I get a msg that UNFORTUNATELY CAMERA STOPPED and no app which requires camera is not getting loaded and crashes with the same message as above.

have you disabled any app? any taskillers, antivirus, ram apps, battery apps, booster apps or task managers?

remove the SD card and check again

also try

settings > apps > all > camera > clear everything and try again

it will be worth to try a new SD card
