Camera Bug

Hi, after I turn on my camera the bottom part of the screen looks as if its cropped i.e I cant view my phone's camera display in full screen. It works well in video mode as well as in picture effect mode but not in the normal camera and front camera mode. I tried restarting my phone a few times but that didn't help. What should I do?

open the camera > manual > settings > resolution > make sure that the ratio its 16:9

The main camera display gets normal (fullscreen) when i change the resolution to 16:9, but is it always supposed to be that way?  Also when i change it to front camera mode it always shows the display as if its cropped... It was not like that before. I've tried everything... from factory reset to updating my phone but nothing seems to work. Any solution for this please? Its very frustrating.

as uliwooly said af ascreen ratio is 4:3 you see screen like it croped

but if its 16:9 you have full screen

Okay I changed the aspect ratio and the main camera works fine. But what about the front camera? Any way to make it full screen?
