Camera app performance

Hello everyone, 

I switched from iPhone a month ago, and I've been using iPhones since 2009, so I pretty much gut used to the speed of the camera app there. 

What I am used to is when I tap the shutter button, the image is taken instantly, and if I tap the preview icon, I get to my gallery without any lags. Unfortunately, this is not the case with the XP. It takes around 1,5 seconds to take a picture and around 3 or 4 seconds to get to the gallery. 

Is it only with me? 

One thing is probably 23 MP pics, but another option is 8 MP (4:3), which is ridiculous, I believe. 

Shall I do the recovery?

Xperia x series are fast only up to taking the picture.. Previewing is another story.
Have you tried enabling touch capture? Processing a 23mp pixel image takes time. 8mp images still uses the 23mp but downsized. You can perform software repair using Xperia companion if you want

are you saving the photos on a SD card or internal storage?

I am using only the internal storage.

Try this

settings > apps > camera > clear data > restart the phone > boot in >>> safe mode try again while on >>> safe mode

Clear data and reboot . No improvement st all!

Could anyone post some photo samples from X Performance? Auto, Manual, 23 MP, etc. I just want to compare the output with XZ.

I think the reason behind this issue is EMMC 5.1 ...SONY need to use high speed UFS 2.1 storage..
