Caller ID photo

On my Xperia Z5, I have synced a lot of contacts with their photos. But when someone calls I see their photo in a small circle and see the initials in a big square. Is there any way in which I can see a bigger photo on the caller screen without having to install 3rd party apps?

can you try to clear contacts data

settings>apps>contacts>clear data

also try to see if the image shows up when you are in safe mode

i've found people that you have starred (favourites) show the full in the big square.

so for exampl if you star/favourie a person in gmail contacts and then resync it to your phone it will show the photo in the big square.

Cleared the contact data, and also tried to star / favourite a person. No change. Isn't there a definitive way to know how to setup the contacts? I tried a Google search but didn't find a concrete solution.

looks like you might have to redo the photos again from gmail contacts.

i just tried a few contacts and basically i re added the photo, but this time a bigger size, and when you have to do that box size selection, make sure you size out the box to the maximum of each corner. then sync the changes back to your phone.

i cant be stuffed trying to find 100+ photos and redoing them all.

hey you might also maybe just resync the contacts a few times. some of my contact photos become full size after resyncing about 6-7 times

Did exactly this. Added bigger photo. Cleared data and cache. Synched the contacts again. And no change. Still the small photo. Can a Sony rep comment on how to do this? Is there any criteria for the photo resolution or size?
