call reject with a message

Hi all,
I have strange problem in my phone (Z1) after I updated it to lollipop a couple of weeks ago.

I do not ALWAYS get the option/slide up menu to reject the call with a message. This option is displayed sometimes (very few instances in last couple of weeks).

However, one of my friends, who has a Z2 always gets this option on his lately updated phone.

Can any one help me out with a solution please?

are you playing games or watching movies when this happen?

Do you have smart key app? If yes,remove it and it should be fine.

I have removed the smart key app and i have got the option of rejecting the call now. Need to observe for a few mor days for consistency. Thanks for the help. BTW uliwooly, i was not playing games when the phone calls came.

Smart key is involved as this has been asked before. Let us know how it works so we can accept a solution.
