Call log empty

Hi,

The call log on the Compact isn't populating. I've tried doing hide and then show call log, as well as adding and removing filters but nothing works it just stays blank. Interestingely, I've added a call log widget to one of the screens and this populates fine.

Any ideas?

I noticed this problem today morning and solved it right now. after a factory reset i restored call logs via pcc. Call log was empty even after I made and received Several calls. Just cleared the log and it started working normally. Seems its pcc resotring problem

Hi, I have the same problem on my Z1. 

I solved it by downloading some Call log backup and restore application from Google Play. Backed up Call log, deleted Call log  and Restore it form the backup file. 

Now works fine and all calls are there. It is problem related to Contacts and call restoration by PC Companion, so after restoring your calls, you can fix it this way.

I found that if I had received a call from an "Unknown number" within my last 12 calls (total number of calls reflected on my call log widget) the entire call log widget would display as call log empty. The fix was to access my call history and delete any calls received from an "Unknown number" within my last 12 calls.

Thank you, exactly what my problem was, getting calls off Recrutiment Agencies recently and it didn't occur to me until your post but I remember one being a Witheld Number! Deleted it and my Call Logs widget is populating again.

Hi,

thank you so much, this solution with the Call Log Monitor app install and then deleting all the logs helped. I have tried to make a call and it appears in the history again. I have done a system reinstallation to original setting and then whatsapp installed, maybe this is where things went wrong...
