Call diverting to voicemail

I clicked on the divert call to voicemail option and then deleted the contact. How do i undo it? I have recreated the contact but still call getting diverted to voicemail.

You can try to clear data for contacts app under settings-apps-all and then check again.

Can you also try to clear data for contacts storage under settings - apps - all? Make sure to have a backup of your contacts.
