C510: Inactive SIM issue

Hi,

I have been using sony er C510 from past 1 Year.

Now I am getting one problem with this as it shows sometime Inactive SIM or view Demo. It is very intermittent behaviour.

I went to to service center they replaced the Key foil basically the hardware which holds the SIM card and for that they charged me 1800/-.

Still I am getting the same issue.

Please help me if you have any solution.

Have you updated the software and/or tried a different SIM card? Does the SIM card appear to be loose in its slot?

I am having 3 SE Phone. 1st is K610i which still  can use until now. I bought this in 2008. The other 2 are Cybershot C510 and Satio. Both have problems which are not reactified untul now.The C510 had a problem which showing message "insert sim or view demo" and the Satio cannot turn on.

Sony Ericsson is suck and won't buy their product anymore. I also suggest to my relatives and friends don't ever get into any of SE Products.
