c1904 - update shows could not update

imei ;  active customization : 1274-3899_R8A c1904 -xperia M single sim on 8th may - got update notification for update center - 2mb - updated then on the very same day - got system update 15.4.A.0.23 367 MB - downloaded after downloading, when i proceeded further, it said approx. 44 minutes will take to complete installation. then too i proceeded then phone rebooted and shows "could not update" without showing any details i downloaded 367 MB once again to verify, and the same happened. now the update notification has disappeared, how can i get notification back and update successfully? NB : i tried through pc too, And it shows your device is up to date . Please help

What operating system are you running if it's a 64bit or Windows 8/8.1 then run the program in compatibility mode and try again

well i updated the same way on the 8th but mine went fine and yes regarding the disappearing of the notification there has been this problem with couple of other ppl as well don't really know why at the moment i wud suggest u to read those threads here on the forum for more info.. cheers
