Bypassing device lockdown after reset

Hello.

I recently sold my old Z5 but forgot to reset to factroy settings before i handed it over.  Can i use the MyXperia application to reset the phone?  The new user obviuosly wants to use it but as my Google account is currently locking it, they can't get into the phone to reset it without my access password.  I'm aware that the ADM mechanism wipes the phone but keeps it locked.

Any advice?

Hi @djsat2,

This security features works in such a way that even if you would successfully wipe it using myXperia, you would still have to login using the correct Google credentials before it can be used. Due to security reasons there is no way around this.
