Bluetooth question for Xperia Support Tech's

Hi!

What headset model, made by Sony, work fine with the Xperia U?

I need a device that doesn’t add noise to the voice communication and work fine with mic noise cancellation

My MW600 sometimes work fine and sometimes don’t.

Hi!

Should? Hum, is a little bit imprecise.

What the main difference in terms of bluetooth protocol and mic gain/noise cancelation between MW600 and the Headset Pro?

I notice when my voice is louder the other people complain about some noise... but is better than my other's headsets like Bluespoon and Nokia.

In the tech center they don't know the Headset Pro... never seen one.

You're right Slightly_smiling_Face Sorry, they work well. I've used the Smart Wireless Headset Pro for about a year and never got any complaints about noise, no matter where I've been or how loud I have been speaking. Before I were using MW600 and personally I think they are pretty similar, but the quality of sound and microphone is a bit better in SWHP.

Regarding the technical specifications of the SWHP:

Acoustical – Speaker

  • Total Harmonic Distortion: <0.3% @ 1khz
  • Driver size: 6mm
  • Speaker Frequency range: 10-20000hz
  • Audio features: MP3 & Wav playback via micro SD card

Acoustical – Microphone

  • Maximum Sound Pressure: 115dB @ 1khz

And MW600:

Acoustical – Speaker

  • Nominal Impedance: 32Ω
  • Speaker type: 2 x 9 mm dynamic, 32Ω
  • Ear coupling: Insert
  • Driver type: Dynamic
  • Driver size: 9.2 mm
  • Speaker Frequency range: 10Hz .. 22000Hz
  • Sensitivity: 100 dBSPL/mW @ 1kHz
  • Total Harmonic Distortion: < 0.5% (100Hz .. 10000Hz @ 1mW)

Acoustical – Microphone

  • Microphone Type: 4 mm Electret

Smart Headset:

Acoustical - Speaker

  • Nominal Impedance: 15Ω
  • F-response: 1Hz-20kHz
  • Max input power: 67mW
  • Bass sensitivity: 125dB/V @ 40Hz
  • Mids sensitivity: 115dB/V @ 1kHz

Why we have this problem about noise, echo and distortion...

You can explain in technical words...
