Hello,
My Xperia Z2 has problems with most bluetooth devices. The only bluetooth device that it reliably connects to is the Sony bluetooth speaker that was part of the bundle.
I have problems connecting to every other bluetooth device with this phone. I have tried my old phone (HTC one X) and my nexus 7, both of these connect without any problems so that I know that the issue is definitely the Xperia Z2. My wife has the same phone as me and also experiences exactly the same problems.
Problems:
Ford hands free kit: Bluetooth occassionally connects for 10 seconds then drops out.
Pioneer hands free stereo: Bluetooth hands free works, but bluetooth music streaming does not. My old phone used to connect to both hands free and music streaming simultaneously so that you could stream music and it would swap to hands free when you recieved a call.
Various bluetooth audio dongles: Phone does not connect at all, when both my old phone and tablet work perfectly.
In summary, this is a serious problem with the phone. I'm really unhappy with the bluetooth performance of the phone - I rely on a bluetooth hands free kit for business and this phone does not work with it.
Sony, please sort this out - your competitors are not having problems like this, especially on their flagship products.
Yes I am having the same problem connecting to the bluetooth in my car. Only connects sometimes, when it does it drops out after a minute or so and never remebers the bt connection, ie I always have to enter the pin. My previous phone Samsung Galaxy Nexus works fine.
Yes, im having the issue of my phone being able to connect, but media sounds are not working.,
