Hi,
I've been playing around with bluetooth music and bluetooth mouse+keyboard and I'm a little bit disappointed with the tab z.
I've tried a range of different keyboards and mice, but this is my current setup:
●Sony SBH20 - Bluetooth headset
●Microsoft Wedge Keyboard
●Microsfot Wedge Mouse
I've found out that android 4.2 (and some flavors of 4.1.2 like the ones we have on Tablet Z?) have had a nasty bluetooth stack issues.

× The music over bluetooth stutter every few seconds (using for example a bluetooth headset). This is something that I've experieced a lot, but not all the time. It seems weird since this problem shouldn't present itself in this version; I have no idea if this is related to the A2DP issues since it is not a 4.2 bluetootch stack.
✓ The bluetooth keyboard seems to be working good.
× The bluetooth mouse is not ok. It seems like it is in a sleep mode for the first 100-200msec of use, in other words it lags everytime when you start using it. If you start moving it, and then constantly move it (like in a circle) it functions just ok. I don't think this has been reported on other systems.
Of course, I have tried the bluetooth setup with another 4.2.2 Android (Cyranogen 10.1). I have tried using the gear one by one so as to not cause bluetooth intereference.
Conclusions:
Bluetooth stack on Tablet Z (10.1.1.A.253) is sub par for basic bluetooth activities.
Stuff will hopefully get better with the 4.2 upgrade (4.2 bluetooth issues ought to be fixed in 4.2.2).
Anyone else having these issues? Comments? I don't feel like installing a custom rom just to get the bluetooth to work.
keep up the good work,
nic
Thanks..
installing cyanogen
Did you install cyanogen ? Did it fix the bluetooth issues ? I'm especially interested about the one where the wifi gets to be very very slow ...
Thanks for the feedback, i will forward this.
The 4.2 update is currently being rolled out for the LTE-version of the tablet. If you have this version and haven't unlocked the bootloader, try updating your tablet using PC Companion.
