Bluetooth connection problem after update to Android 5.1.1

Hello, I have problem with my bluethoot after update to 5.5.1. Other device is ODB II bluethoit dongle. It seems that phpne see other device, but can not communicate with it. Only show device phisical adress and nothing more. When my phone was with Android 4.4.4 there was no problem to comunicate with this device. My other two phones (Xperia P and Xperia L, both with android JB) has no problems to communicate with device or to each other.

What can I do to resolve this issue.

If you did the 5.1.1 upgrade over your old version without resetting, then I suggest removing this device from your paired devices list, restart your phone, and try pairing it again.

This is not a solution. I tried this already, but still no connection. I actualy never sucseed to pair this device with my Z3 after update. I consider option to downgrade software to 4.4.4 to be shure that problem is with the software and not hardware.

If you google around there seems to be a number of reported bluetooth issues with Android 5.1.1 not just with Sony but aother brands.

I've been away for awhile. Still no solution for my problem.Tried a several third party bluetooth programs but still no success.
I did not have time to downgrade to 4.4.4.

I'm not saynig that this is only Sony's problem, but if this is a problem with Android itself, then Sony and all other brands should cooperate with Google to find a solution.

I agree, but I don't know how much OEMs can do regarding this.

Have the same problem. Also lost all contacts after update. Need a solution. Terrible update. Made reset many times. Not working. SONY YOU NEED TO FIX THIS. my phone is not usable without Bluetooth and contacts.
