Bluetooth connection failed Z5 compact and Windows 7

Hello everyone,

I've tried to connect my Z5 compact with my notebook with Windows 7. There's a bluetooth connection but gives a lot of errors in the device manager. Sony PC Companion 2.1 can't connect it also by bluetooth. I've tried to update my Windows, but that wasn't a solution. I have also updated my phone as well.. Do you know how to fix it?

Try reseting the Smart connect app by going to Settings > Apps > All > Smart Connect > Clear Data > Force Stop.

If this doesn't help, can you please advise us what the error messages you are getting are?

In addition, do you have any issues with any other bluetooth connections to your phone?
