Backup everything as it will erase all data on phone (sms, contacts, apps)

Repair your phone via SUS

SUS ( Sony Update Service)  ... download and install it on pc and follow the on-screen instructions

Hello Nabeel,

I am also facing same problem. I have Sony Ericsson Arc S LT18i model.

Recently for first time I switched on bluetooth and it went into boot-start loop (Only can see Sony and Xperia on screen). How can I go into my phone now.

It contain important contacts which i need desperately. Any suggestions to go into recovery mode and close bluetooth.

I am ok not to use bluetooth in future but desperately want my phone to turn ON.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

I had the same problem before, actually this error caused me to repair my Xperia Arc S via PC Companion thrice already. Too bad if you haven't backed up all important data on your phone before this happened. As experienced, I'm no longer using the bluetooth function. I also hope Sony could address this problem.

ravs77 I'm afraid there's no way to do that Slightly_frowning_Face

Try using safe mode.

Take the battery out and reinsert it , switch it on and start pressing menu / option key again and again.

See if that helps you

the problem is the phone keeps restarting, showing the "boot-start loop (only can see Sony and Xperia on screen)" even it's connected to the PC, the PC companion cannot connect to the Phone due to the phone keeps restarting.....................what should i do? the PC companion isn't working due to the phone keeps on restarting...............
