Hi, I have an Experia Z and a Bluetooth Radio (Pioneer AVH-X3500DAB) and while Bluetooth works well for receiving and making calls they do not show in the call log on the radio. Using a different phone there is no problem, so it must be the phone somehow, any ideas appreciated, Thanks, Martin.
Your BT device probably use some Bluetooth profile to gain the call log information which the Xperia Z doesn't support. Perhaps you can check the with the manufacturer of your BT device and then compare if the profile they use for this is supported by the phone.
All supported BT profiles are listed in the phone white paper.

Hi Johan, Thanks, that's very useful, I will check this out, Best wishes, Martin.
I pressed an option in the radio menu to update the Bluetooth version and that seems to have cured the problem, I now have the list of calls on the radio the same as on the phone
Hi Its MartinH again different ID same confused person. What I have found is that every time I disconnect I will not get the calls lists unless I go to the phone Bluetooth settings and wait for the prompt "phone book request, The radio would like to access your contacts and call listings. Give access? yes/no (tick box). If I tick the yes box I get the call listings on the radio, but unless I go to settings and go through this every time the phone connects I will not get the call listings. Can this not be done automatically by default? What happens if I tick the box that says "Do not show this again" - will it connect automatically in future or won't it connect at all?
