Bluetooth audio lag

Bluetooth audio lag

So i recently got my Z1s and coming from an HTC One S, i was pleasently surpised. I was also surprised to get bothered alot watching netflix while i work out. Whereas the One S was perfect in this regard, the Z1s has a small amount of audio lag, to the point where if they actors are talking quickly the lips dont even line up to the words, like a bad chinese martial arts movie. Is this a known issue? Its really bothersome. What can i do to help get around this, if anything? Thanks.

If you stream content from any other source such as Youtube etc do you get the same issue?

Yes same issue. Youtube, games, etc. With the games its really bothersome as some games are fast paced and i really need the audio to be in sync with what im doing on the screen you know? re-pairing my headset also did not help.

Just to clarify, are you connecting via GPRS or Wi-Fi and do you have any other data based services running in the background that could be over using your bandwidth?

Nothing should be over using my bandwidth. I am usually connected via 4g LTE or 4g HSPA+ and when i am streaming as ive mentioned, without the headset everything is sycned up fine (as in, thru the phone's built in speaker). Once i bluetooth connect to my stereo headset, it becomes out of sync.

Usually if im streaming video or playing a game, that is the onyl service im using aside from background services like push mail and facebook periodically updating, but that is normal and should be expected for.

So is this a known issue? Is there a fix coming? Is there a way to remedy it?

Same issue with my brand new xperia. The problem isn't with ANY of your Bluetooth devices. The problem is with the phone itself. I have Multiple Bluetooth devices that all behave the same way. Bluetooth earpiece, pioneer deck in my vehicle, and beats pill. I have just recently updated to the most current version of firmware and have no other applications running but YouTube. Audio lag still present. Only current fix, Using my Samsung S4 to play media via Bluetooth. Works like a charm Slightly_smiling_Face
