Bluetooth and USB file transfer issue with Xperia SL

Hi,

I'm facing two issues on my Xperia SL running Android 4.1.2 build 6.2.B.1.96 (official update).

1) Sometimes (after the phone has been operational for a few days) the bluetooth doesn't turn on. There is no pattern in this observation and it just occurs randomly. I have to then switch off and on to be able to use bluetooth.

2) When I connect phone to my laptop (with PC Companion s/w installed), the phone connects fine and I'm able to browse through the contents of internal storage. However, when I try to run videos stored on my phone, I get an error. I can copy videos to my laptop and run from laptop though. Images open fine from the internal storage.

Are these known issues ? If yes, is there an available solution ?

Has there been any bug-fix update on top of the official JB update that I'm running my phone on ?

Thanks,

Kunal

Recently I did a Factory Reset of my phone since my PC Companion wouldn't let me do a Repair somehow... so I erased everything INCLUDING internal memory.... then I restored my latest backup and installed everything...

And I recently started getting the same issues you do... Bluetooth works, but after a phone call, or a change in sound routing... bluetooth freeze at "Turning On" and I have to restart the phone to get it to work again....

Similarly USB transfers, using the phone on MTP mode are extremely annoying... if the file is somehow big... (~400MB and up) it will transfer until Windows says "Last 5 Seconds Remaining" and then freeze there until it gives error and ask to Skip or Stop the transfer...

And even WEIRDER is that the file actually transfered completely... but most of the time Windows Explorer stops responding.

I am tempted to do an actual Repair..... but I would like to know if there is a different solution, because I JUST DID a factory reset and reinstall
