Blue tooth

Hey I have my Xperia Z1 constantly connecting and disconnecting from my hands free on my 2013 GMC Sierra. It will connect and then over time disconnect even during a call. It won't drop the call but the phone will disconnect from the hands free. Every other phone I have used with my truck has never done this. I have also had the Xperia take upwards of 20 minutes to connect to the hands free. Anyone know what can be done, I would appreciate any help, thanks.

Try this, just to find out that powermanagement is not the issue:

Xperia Z1 : Settings > Powermanagement > Stamina mode off.

If bluetooth works ok, then you know it's powersaver stamina. Then you know you need to switch it off when you get in the car.

With the information supplied, I also suggest that you check the white papers of the Xperia Z1 and clarify if the Bluetooth profiles will work correctly with your Bluetooth Handsfree device.

Contact the manufacturer of the Bluetooth handsfrees device, they will be able to clarify if this device is compatible with the Bluetooth profiles as well as the handsets Firmware version.
