Hi I have some problems with battery in my Xperia. Phone is 2 months old and run on newest JB. Without stamina, data ON, phone stand by only 24hours. BUT I use it only for 5 - 10 sms and 1 call per day + 10 WhatsUp messages. Is it normal? I dont think so.... With stamina off shows 9 hours all the time and when I turn on stamin it still 9 hours. Delete data in Eco-mode and shut down this app dont help. Restart phone dont help. I reinstalled JB and 2 days was everythink ok, but now is the same..... (sorry for my english)
Clear datas in both the below .. from settings> all apps
ECO mode controller
device monitor
try this and check ... if not solved .. do a factory reset and reinstall the firmware with SUS
I just reinstalled and everything seems normal. 51% battery stamina ON and 1d and 2h. I will see after week. Have to test it 🙂
keep us updated.
This is not normal.... I have amazing stand by time, phone worked 28hours with data on, stamina off and I was listeng 3hours music. Nice, BUT when I charge it.... Now it shows 6hours with stamina off and 2d 6h with stamina on. BUT when i push on stamina, stamina icon dont show... Wtf, sorry but I am pissed off. I never had such problems with any phone.... This is imposible
reintalled with PCC ?? try once again reinstalling thro SUS with factory data reset ..
I can try, but what is SUS? 😮
EDIT: and how can it help? I thing its only 1 system, wich I reinstalling. Or its not tru?
like PCC v have one more software to install firmware ,, its sony update service (SUS) .. SUS is fast and it ll do factory data reset while installing itself .. first get SUS from here http://www.sonymobile.com/in/tools/update-service/ .. then install SUS in ur pc .. now install the firmware through SUS .. jus open it connect ur device, then select ur model (xperia p) then asks to power off ur device and connect the data cable again to ur device to enter the flashmode , jus follow the onscreen steps .... if asks for two options like install firmware without factory reset and install firmware with factory reset then u check "install firmware with factory reset" ..
I will wait for a while. I have to test it more sequences of full charge to 5%. And when I reinstall last time (it was 3rd time of last week btw), I delete internal memory, did factory reset + delete internal memory again and after that reinstal system. So I dont think so your way will help. But I can try 🙂
