Battery only lasts for 8 hours

Is it acceptable that the battery lasts only around 8 hours with normal use?

One thing that you can do after an update, if the battery seems to be acting up, you could repair the phone with XC and it should smooth things out

You either have the F8132 or the F8131.
F8132 is the dual sim version.

I got my first Sony (Xperia X) few weeks ago and I bought it because they advertise long lasting battery. My previous phone (Windows phone 930) was poor on that area. And now I'm so dissapointed. If I use any of the apps (facebook etc.) the battery ends before it is time to go to bed. That is way poorer than my previous phone. I don't want to run test and do tricks to be able to have phone that last at least one whole day without charging! Very dissapointed 😡

I've had the X for three weeks and the battery is really very poor. Upgraded from the Z2 which was great save for the last 3 months or so where the battery either detiorated due to age or the Android update of the same time. 

I'll try not using the quick charger and revert to a regular charger for a hopeful improvement. I feel as though I have downgraded from Z to X when I was told it was the new flagship product.
