Battery is draining very fast after Marshmallow update

Battery is draining like crazy after Marshmallow 6.0 update.

Battery saver keeps getting switched off during and after charging.

Have to charge my tablet twice today for about 5 hour usage without NFC, Bluetooth, and I set the screen brightness at a very dim display. All apps are battery optimalised.

No option of Stamina, battery usage, doze, etc.

Please assist.

Did that twice already. Totally cleaned and reset the tablet to factory setting before upgrading it, twice.

We'll need more info to better assist you

charge the phone 100% use it as you normally would then once the battery reaches 10%

settings > power management > battery > take screenshots of:

1. the list

2. tap on the graph and take a screenshot

3. back > tap on the top 4 items on the list > take a screenshot of each

post them all here or upload the screenshots to box or dropbox or google drive or etc and post the link

There is no power management anymore on 6.0.

Woke up with battery drained out. Recharging it and noiced that there is a conflict in the amount of internatl storage used. System says 14Gb, and file commander says 4 Gb.

Another repair session with a total wipe out on internal storage this time. Keep you posted.

4th time repaired and wiped out, started as a new device. The battery life increases from 8 hours to 18hours, still shorter compared to the battery life with Stamina mode on 5.0.

I'm having the same probem.

My Z4 is an o2 UK LTE version and unlike my o2 UK Z3+ I didn't have to do a clean install/repair, probably because it was a day later and I was prepared for the exclusion of adoptable storage so I let it do its own thing. My apps re-installed ok. In fact my available internal storage didn't change, which tells me how even on the previous software version when you put all your apps on the memory card it still kept space for them internally.

I have half the apps on my tablet than I do on my phone yet I still have slightly less internal free space on my tablet. Go figure because I can't.

Also, since updating, my battery life has dropped by half. I get a day and a half standby now as opposed to two and half to three and half days depending on usage before hand. Its disappointing since there's not much change in battery life on my Z3+.

I never used the stamina modes on both beforehand either.

Can't wait till 10% have to go to bed and charge my tablet for work tomorrow.  Hope till 19% is OK.
