Battery drain using Chrome

I generally use chrome for browsing and battery drain is inconsistent. Usually it is very fast and i have to charge twice in a day, but occasionally it's great and lasts much longer.

I cannot figure out what's different on the days it lasts longer. Has anyone got any ideas?

Ps i also notice the backof the phone getting quite warm when it's draining fast

Google chrome is an app that requires many resources. Maybe you can try a different browser,see if there is any difference.

When your battery is around 10%, go to Settings, Power Management, Battery Usage, and see which app or process that drains more than expected. You can also taake a screenshot and post it here.

Google Chrome is a memory hog.  Lots of background services running, probably causing the drain.
