Battery Drain Issue

Well I am using Z for over a month and have little or less complaints about it.

Last nite I was playing Subway Surfers. Battery was low so I played by charging it alongwith .. Suddenly after an hour phone shuts down.

After that I left it there and in the morning when i switched it on I am having big problem with the Battery.

Its discharging at 1% per 1 minute .. Its very annoying

Can someone tell whats the problem is and how it can be solved 😞

I have already posted here before that this powerful beast will still discharge the battery (allbeit slowly) even when on the mains charger

Possibly an oversite by Sony not providing a charger able to keep up with the power drawn from the hardware when playing games etc

I suspect the charger for a Tablet to maybe provide more power and could be an alternative option but I've never investigated this, I think the mains chager supplies 900ma and connected to PC USB 500ma

The lesson is make sure you have a full charge before heavy gaming for the moment

As GeoffH says, depending on what you do with the phone it can actually discharge the battery slowly while charging.

If the problem with the high battery usage remains, let the phone discharge completely and then charge it full without starting the phone.
