Battery dead?

Hi there, i have a problem with my Xperia X, last night before i was going to sleep, i connect the phone to the charger, battery was 15% , charging light turned on and i fell a sleep. This morning i woke up, 2 hours late from work, phone was turned off , still connected to charger, red light on, charging screen is the only thing it shows, 0% reading on screen. has been connected now for 4 hours for a different charger, wont turn on. I have tried also travelcharger, power button voice + , ten seconds and 120 seconds, doesnt matter, ´nothing happens, computer doesnt know the phone when connected via USB.

Is this the battery life of these phones these days, bought in june, already get a factory replacement right after i bought it, first one had a broken mic.

I have had a numerous sonys ( xperia active,go,m4,Z1 compact) before but this might be the very last one.

That's rather odd, what if you use a different cable?

connect the phone to a wall charger > press and hold power & volume down for 10 seconds > let it charge for 3 hours

Plug it just to the wall

Hi @Mr_47,

Welcome to the community. I am sorry to hear that this happened to you. Slightly_frowning_Face

It is possible that an app, or several apps have an issue, causing your battery to drain faster than it can charge. However, the fact that it will not charge now indicates a potential battery issue.

Please do try the steps the other have mentioned above, and if you are having no luck, contact your Local support team to arrange an assessment.
