Battery daining quickly when enabling mobile data

When I enable mobile data in my Xperia L, battery starts to drain very quickly.

Even if I disable mobile data, battery continue to discharge quickly until I charge it again.

Any solutions?

The battery of my Xperia L discharges very quickly if I charge the telephone while turned on.

However, If i charge the telephone while turned off the battery lasts much longer.

I have made an update of the software, but it does not solve the problem.

Can anyone halp me in this matter? Thanks in advance.
