Battery Charging very slow on xperia Z3 lollipop

Hi

I have recently upgraded to Lollipop and earlier the 100% battery charging used to take roughly 2 hours on kitkat but now after the upgrade it is taking roughly 4 hours. I am using the same 2.1 amp original sony charger and it is really annoying when it takes so much time.

Pls fix this bug very very urgently.

have you unlocked the bootloader? rooted the phone? disable any app? 

have you stopped by your local Xperia care?

I have neither rooted the phone nor disabled any app. The only change was the upgrade to Lollipop which messed up the charging. The only support available from Sony is the live chat which never seems to load.

Got through to the live chat, they suggested a repair with PC companion which I had already done. So yeah basically, that was no help. I have already tried both the factory reset as well as the PC Companion repair option.

Well that's the best part. The person on the live chat informed me that the only service center in the US is located in texas which is abput 2000 miles away.

I left my new Z3 to charge for over 4 hours and its still on 26%, plus the battery drains sooo quickly! Is my handset faulty??

It was turned off
