battery/charging problem

my phone wont charge, it ws fine two days ago, charging nicely and i've not had any problems with the charging before. i tryed to charge it last night and it would'nt it kept turning itself on after i put the charger in, but would'nt charge. i have brought a new charger and it still is'nt working i would'nt think it would be the battery as it was lasting as much as it did when i first had it. any ideas?

Does your phone still charge via USB cable?

no it wont charge on the laptop either

The battery will need to be at least partially charged to run the update service, but this sort of problem is often solved by updating/re-installing the software.
